(Apr. 8, 2013) – Four goals spelled history for
Samantha Rich Monday.
The freshman has been named to the Skyline Conference Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll for player of the week, becoming the first player in the program's history to receive the honor. The women's lax team is officially a varsity sport this spring.
Rich (FR/Providence, RI) scored six goals on the week and registered eight draw controls over two matches. She netted four on Saturday against Sage.
She joined six others on HR.
Farmingdale State's Nicole Marzocca is the player of the week. She tallied 11 goals on 15 shots and added three assists as FSC notched wins over Kean (18-9) and St. Joseph's-LI (16-12).
