Andre Nixon (SR/Harlem, NY) was tabbed the Most Outstanding Player of the Eastern Connecticut State Tip-Off Tourney as he averaged 26.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in a pair of victories. He shot 20 of 34 from the field and knocked down 7 of 13 attempts from beyond the arc.

He was later named Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. He has also been named the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week.
