Purchase College Athletics

Amanda Gibson (JR/Saratoga, NY) won the 200-yard individual medley on Jan. 16 in a time of 2:30.66. Purchase earned victories over Bard (77-17) and Cazenovia (52-43). The standout newcomer had a time of 1:15.74 in the 100-yard breaststroke on Jan. 20 as the Panthers edged the Mount, 96-84.

She was later named the Skyline Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week. She also takes home the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week.
