Sam Jaffe (FR/Silver Spring, NY) placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.24) and posted a time of 2:14.02 in the 200-yard freestyle on Jan. 16 as Purchase earned wins over Bard (59-31) and Cazenovia (62-25). The breakout freshman also won the 200-yard individual medley (2:08.95) on Jan. 20 as the Panthers notched a 109-16 victory over Mount Saint Vincent.

He was later named the Skyline Rookie of the Week. He has also been named the PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
