Purchase College Athletics

Over a 1-1 week for the Panthers, Nyasia Harris (JR/South Fallsburg, NY) averaged 10.5 points and 15 rebounds per game. She opened the week with an impressive 13 points and 18 boards (10 OFF) to lead Purchase to a 62-57 victory over the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Jan. 3.

The junior wrapped up the week with an 8-point, 12-rebound effort in the Panther home game against Farmingdale State on Saturday.

She was later named to the conference honor roll for player of the week and joins men's standout Deshawn Cann (JR/Queens, NY) as the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week.
