Deshawn Cann (JR/Queens, NY) has swept the major college basketball awards for the week. He has also been named the PC Student-Athlete of the Week, joining women's basketball counterpart Kayla Ortiz (SR/Brooklyn, NY) in the honor.
The Panther swingman has been named the Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, Men's Player of the Week by the Met Basketball Writers Association (for DII-DIII) and to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.
For Cann, it's his fourth weekly honor of season in conference (Dec. 4, Jan. 8 and 29). He led the Panthers to trio of Skyline wins with averages of 19 points, 10.3 rebounds and 6.7 assists per showing.
