Michael Sarni (JR/Shelton, CT) earned a conference HR mention for his flawless play at second base and at the top of the order. The leadoff hitter scored nine runs with a .583 slugging pct. from the leadoff spot. Sarni was on base constantly, setting the tone for the rest of the Panther lineup over the weekend.

For his efforts, he not only garners an HR mention, but has also been named PC Student-Athlete of the Week, sharing that honor with teammate Frank Fiumara (SR/Pirt Chester, NY).
