Alyse LaPadula (SR/New Rochelle, NY) has been named the Skyline Women's Softball Player of the Week. She also takes home Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week honors, sharing the award with teammate Lindsay Froman (SR/Medina, NY).
LaPadula led the Panthers to a perfect 4-0 mark with her outstanding play. She hit .800, going 12 for 15 while smashing five doubles along the way. She also scored eight runs and drove home 11 RBI.
LaPadula was a perfect 9 for 9 over two games to start the week, helping the Panthers sweep Sarah Lawrence. She capped the week with two more impressive outings against York College, fashioning a 1.200 slugging percentage over four games.
