In addition to being named Skyline Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, Jeremyah Schur (SO/Forest Hills, NY) has also been named Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week.
The standout picked up where he left off last spring. Schur opened the season with a pair of victories at No. 1 singles, as Purchase downed Bard College (8-1) and was edged by Baruch, 5-4. He also registered two wins at No. 1 doubles.
He was impressive in both singles and doubles. In singles, he produced a 6-3, 7-5 victory at No. 1 on Mar. 10 versus Bard, and a 6-1, 3-6, 10-6 win versus 2012 NCAA participant Baruch on Mar. 5.
