Purchase College Athletics

Junior Sanguina (JR/White Plains, NY) walks away with three honors this week. He was named Co-Skyline Player of the Week, the ECAC DIII Metro Player of the Week and now the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week, an award he shares with women's soccer rookie standout Amanda Green (FR/Roslyn Heights, NY). 

The midfielder amassed 15 points on six goals and three assists to lead the Panthers on the week. His standout performance also included a game-winning goal in Purchase's victories over Lehman (4-1), Sarah Lawrence (9-0) and Farmingdale State (3-0). He  scored two goals and added an assist on Sept. 21 in the Panthers' Skyline opener against FSC. In all, he compiled nine shots on the week.
