Alicia McCarthy (FR/Plano, TX) has been named the Skyline Conference Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week and the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week.

The freshman outside hitter registered 16 kills on Sept. 10 as Purchase earned a 3-0 win over John Jay. She compiled 17 kills in the Panthers' 3-2 loss to the College of New Rochelle on Sept. 12 and also averaged 2.5 digs over eight sets with an attack percentage of .348.
