Purchase College Athletics

Emma Yavel (FR/Brooklyn, NY) went 2-0 in singles action and won both of her matches at No. 3 doubles as Purchase notched victories over St. Joseph's-LI (5-4) on Oct. 13 and Pratt (5-4) on Oct. 9. She earned a 6-2, 6-1 win at the No. 4 singles flight against the Golden Eagles and posted a 6-4, 6-4 victory against Pratt.  

She was later named Skyline Conference Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week and the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week.
