Jazmin Garcia (JR/Peekskill, NY) averaged 25.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals in a 1-1 week for the Panthers.
The reigning Skyline Conference Co-Player of the Week scored 28 points and grabbed 15 rebounds on Feb. 1 as Purchase earned a 63-48 win over NYU-POLY and poured in 23 points and pulled down 12 boards in the Panthers' 77-67 loss to Mount Saint Mary on Jan. 30. Garcia shot 20 of 36 from the field on the week.
She was later named league player of the week and also earned ECAC Player of the Week honors, a regional distinction, as well as PC Student-Athlete of the Week, an award she shares with standout swimmer Amanda Gibson (JR/Saratoga, NY).
