Purchase College Athletics

Michael Piekarczyk (FR/Dudley, MA) went 8 for 16 with six RBI, five runs scored and a pair of steals on the week.  He collected four hits and knocked in three on March 22 in a 10-8 loss to SUNY College at Old Westbury.  Earlier in the week, on March 18, he drew a pinch-hit walk and scored a run on in the Panthers' 12-5 win at Manhattanville College.  Through eight games this season, he had eight RBI and eight runs scored.

He was later named Skyline Rookie of the Week. The rookie is also the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week.
