Purchase College Athletics

In addition to being named the Skyline Conference Women's Swimming Rookie of the Week, Bianca Covello has been named Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week, sharing the honor with her teammate, August Cook.

Covello walked home with the league Rookie of the Week award, shining in Purchase's victory over Mt. St. Vincent. She won both the 50 free (28:59) and 100 breaststroke, while also earning a team win in the 200 medley relay.

This is her first league recognition and her first career PC Student-Athlete of the Week honor.
