Joel Neri (SR/Port Chester, NY), who was named to the Ramapo Roadrunner Tip-Off All-Tournament team, went for 14.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 4.3 blocked shots per contest in the Panthers' three-contest week. The senior center posted 21 points and 16 rebounds in Saturday's win over Ramapo in the tip-tournament opener. Behind Neri, the Panthers went 2-1 on the week, topping York and Ramapo before falling to Johnson & Wales in Sunday's tournament championship game at Ramapo.
He was later named to the conference honor roll for player of the week and shares the PC Student-Athlete of the Week with swim's Lorena Peralta (SO/Bronx, NY).
