For the second consecutive week, men's swimmer August Cook has been named PC Student-Athlete of the Week.. Although the swim team didn't fair well in the win column, Cook continued his domination in individual events. He remains on track for an All-Skyline selection.

Cook shares the PC Student-Athlete of the Week honor with Perseus the Panther, the program's highly popular mascot. Perseus shined last week in a short week of work for athletics, with only the swim programs in action. Perseus treated the crowd to a fun time on Thursday night during the 3rd Annual Panther Madness and then roared again on Friday during Sneaker Ball 2011, a charity event for the swim program.
