Panther ace Samantha Alonzo (SR/Wappingers Falls, NY) was named the Skyline Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week following her dominant 2016 debut. She has also been named the PC Student-Athlete of the Week.

In a five-inning, mercy-rule shutout over Baruch College, Alonzo went the distance in allowing just one hit and one walk, while striking out six Bearcats.
