Brian Berrios (JR/New York, NY), a guard, averaged 22.3 points per contest, and has helped the Panthers to a 5-2 start. Purchase defeated neighboring rival Manhattanville and league rival Maritime before falling to Mount Saint Mary in overtime Saturday.

He was later named to the Skyline Conference honor roll and joins women's basketball standout Amber Jones (SO/Bronx, NY) in being named the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week.
