Purchase College Athletics

Riley Damerell (SR/Rochester, NY) helped Purchase reach the Skyline Conference Tournament in men's volleyball last week and is on pace to do the same for the men's tennis team once again this spring. The No. 1 tennis player has been named the Skyline Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week and the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week, joining women's lacrosse standout Emma Porter (JR/Homer, NY) in the honor. 

Damerell lost just one game in picking up a pair of victories over St. Joseph's College-BKLYN at the top of the Panthers' lineup. He swept an 8-0 decision at No. 1 doubles, before taking home a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles.
