The first Skyline Conference runner to cross the finish line at the Vassar Invitational last weekend can add league Runner of the Week and Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week to his credit.

Purchase’s Jake Agosto (JR/Bayshore, NY) has been named the Skyline Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league office has announced. Agosto shined in the Vassar Invitational, finishing the course in 22:03, first for the Panthers and 25th overall. He was the top Skyline finisher in the event.

For Agosto, this is his first Skyline Conference weekly honor of his Purchase career. It is also the first for a PC men’s cross country runner in 2011.
