Women’s soccer star Abigail Katz picked up right where she left off last season, when she was the conference’s leading goal scorer.

Katz (JR/Livingston, NJ) scored a goal and handed out an assist in Purchase’s season-opening win over CCNY. For her efforts, Katz has been named to the Skyline Conference Women’s Soccer Honor Roll for player of the week, the league office has announced.

She has also been named the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week. 
 

Katz assisted on the opening goal and then added her own in a 2-0 win over City, trying to follow up on a league-best 22 goals last year.
