Purchase College Athletics

Nathalie Lavelanet has been named the Skyline Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week. She has also been named the Purchase College Student-Athlete of the Week, sharing the honor with women's tennis standout Gabrilla Marden for the week ending Sept. 11.

The John Jay Cross High School product has been sensational to start the fall campaign. The rookie forward snapped New Jersey City University's record five-game scoreless streak, which stood at 450:49, by recording the Panthers' lone goal Saturday in a tough defeat to powerhouse NJCU. She has scored two of the three team goals in Purchase's first two games.
