Bronxville, NY (Sept. 23, 2010) – Purchase's star trio of Olivia Hintz, Taylor Edelmann and Rebecca Dittler lifted the Panthers to a 3-1 win at Sarah Lawrence Thursday night.

The Panthers won 25-21, 25-13, 23-25, 25-22, dropping only the third set on a night dominated by Purchase's super trio.

Hintz (JR/East Aurora, NY) and Edelmann (SO/Bethel, CT) led the way with 13 and 12 kills respectively. Dittler (JR/Elmira Heights, NY) added 10 as the threesome combined for 35 of the team's 47 kills.

The Panthers hit an impressive .375 in the opening set. They followed that with .250 and .150 showing in the second and third before bouncing back in a big way in the fourth and final set. Purchase had its best single set of the season, hitting a pristine .652 (17 kills, two errors and 23 attempts) to close out the victory in style.

Setter Lindsay Navagh (FR/Fulton, NY) did an exceptional job handing out assists. She totaled 32 of the team's 38, adding two kills, four service aces and a dig on a night when the Panthers could do no wrong.

Rookie Cathryn Mulvey (FR/Scarsdale, NY) contributed six kills for the Panthers, who also recorded 10 service aces and 30 defensive digs – 10 of which came from Edelmann.
