Purchase, NY (Sept. 17, 2011) – The women's volleyball team made it two straight at home Saturday afternoon, dispatching visiting Sarah Lawrence College, 3-0, for their second consecutive victory at Purchase.

The Panthers (3-3), which needed to go the distance with Lehman College on Wednesday before capturing a 3-2 win, quickly disposed of non-conference rival Sarah Lawrence. The Panthers won 25-15, 25-9 and 25-17, evening their overall record at 3-3 on the season.

There were contributions aplenty from top to bottom. Lindsay Navagh (SO/Fulton, NY) dished out 15 assists and added five service aces in a nice all-around effort, while team leader and defensive presence Mickaela Olson (SR/Glen Cove, NY) led the way with 17 digs.

Setter Katie Westervelt (FR/Congers, NY) finished with 10 assists and a pair of service aces in the win. The Panther tandem of Lindsay Froman (SR/Medina, NY) and Olivia Hintz (SR/East Aurora, NY) also continued their hot play. Froman recorded eight kills, four digs and one block. Hintz totaled seven kills, four digs and three aces.

Standout newcomers Jenna Nardi (FR/Yorktown Heights, NY) and Jessie Pagnotta (FR/Lake George, NY) were equally impressive in the win. Nardi finished with four kills, eight digs and two aces, while Pagnotta added three kills, six digs and one ace. Middle hitter Cathryn Mulvey (SO/Scarsdale, NY) also turned in a nice match with three kills, two digs and two blocks.
