Farmingdale, NY (Sept. 28, 2011) – Farmingdale State forward Corine Magee had a night to remember.

The junior scored four goals in a 5-0 shutout of Purchase. The Rams improved to 8-1-2, 2-0 in the Skyline, while the Panthers dropped to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

In the afternoon matchup, Magee opened the scoring with her first goal in the 23rd minute, putting Farmingdale State up 1-0. Magee then added goals in the 27th and 34th minutes, which gave the Rams a 3-0 advantage. Junior midfielder Kasey Estelle netted the final goal of the first half with 3:49 remaining and Farmingdale State held a 4-0 lead at the break.

The Rams outshot the Panthers 20-4 in the first half.

In the second half, Magee added her fourth and the game's final goal in the 67th minute.

In defeat, goalkeeper Kristen Racaniello (SO/Riverhead, NY) made 10 saves for Purchase.
