Newburgh, NY (Oct. 6, 2012) – Women's volleyball lost both ends of a tri-match at Mount Saint Mary Saturday.

The Panthers fell 3-0 to host MSMC and also dropped a 3-0 matchup with St. Joseph's College-LI. The Knights earned a 25-17, 25-6, 25-18 win and SJC-LI won 25-6, 25-11, 25-9.

MSMC was paced by Mary Ann Raftery and her 12 kills. Against the Knights, co-captain Jenna Nardi (SO/Yorktown Heights, NY) led Purchase with nine kills. Fellow co-captain Cathryn Mulvey (JR/Scarsdale, NY) added seven in defeat.

St. Joe's Heather Ferchland and Melissa Garbaldi had five kills apiece against the Panthers in the Golden Eagles win. Mulvey led the way with three kills for Purchase.
