Purchase, NY (Oct. 18, 2013) – A five-goal first half propelled the Purchase College women's soccer team to a 7-0 victory over Yeshiva University on Friday.  

Ace forward Marykate McGee (SO/East Rockaway, NY) scored twice for the Panthers, finding the back of the net at 8:19 and 61:34.

Rookie midfielder Amanda Green (FR/Roslyn Heights, NY) also had two goals and collected two assists for a total of six points on the match.  

After returning from a knee injury earlier in the season, Annette Elson (SO/Las Vegas, NV) earned her second goal of the season and had one assist in the victory. 

Gia Sergovich (JR/Watervliet, NY) and Randi Langdon (FR/Buffalo, NY) rounded out the Panther scoring at 43:29 and 73:01 with one goal apiece. For Langdon, this was her first goal as a Panther. 

Purchase outshot Yeshiva by a 35-0 margin, with 28 of those shots on frame. 

The Panthers suit up again tomorrow as they travel to Yonkers to faceoff the College of Mount Saint Vincent at 8 p.m.  This will be the fourth game in six days for Purchase.
