(Oct. 8, 2014) – Brooklyn College bested Purchase 3-0 Wednesday night.
The Bulldogs posted a 25-4, 25-7, 25-14 final to improve to 7-15 in the non-conference matchup.
Panther head coach
Marc Solondz worked on some new rotations as Purchase continues to smooth out its newer roster.
The Panthers (2-16) started slowly, but recovered later in the match, especially in the third set.
However, Brooklyn was just too strong. The visitors were paced by Christolia Butler and her six kills. Teammate Sasha Roopchand added five kills. In addition, Brooklyn setter Jessica Yin handed out a match-high 13 assists in the win.
The Panthers were paced by captain
Alex Lally (SO/Sunnyvale, TX), who returned from a concussion and finished with three kills and five digs.
Purchase returns to action this weekend in a home tri-match.
