Purchase, NY (Nov. 2, 2014) – The Purchase College women's volleyball team wrapped its season on Sunday in a 3-1 loss to Yeshiva.

Yeshiva also posted a five-set win over Sarah Lawrence, winning both ends of the double matchup.

The Panthers won the second set of the late afternoon match, but fell 25-22, 15-25, 25-19, 25-21 in a close finale. Purchase finishes the rebuilding season at 2-27, 0-9 in conference play.

Alex Lally (SO/Sunnyvale, TX) led Purchase with 19 kills, 12 digs, four service aces and one solo block. Outside hitter Victoria Blum (SO/Bronx, NY) added a team-leading 13 digs to go along with a team-best 16 assists, while teammate Emily Seto (SO/North Brunswick, NJ) also played well in the final match, notching eight kills. First-year player April Uhl (SO/Jackson Heights, NJ) recorded a team-best six service aces.
