New Paltz controlled majority of the match, outshooting Purchase by a 40-2 margin. The Hawks notched two goals in the opening half and exploded for five scores in the final period

Imani Humphries (Washington D.C.) made 15 saves in her debut game of the 2014 season. She allowed five goals in 70 minutes of play.
Briana Leon (SO/Glen Clove, NY) finished out the final 20 minutes in net, giving up two goals and blocking one.
Five different players scored to pace the Hawks, with sophomore forward Kaite Mulry leading the way with two second-half goals, occurring in the 69th and 78th minutes.
