New Rochelle, NY (Sept. 29, 2015) – The College of New Rochelle women's volleyball team won its 8th straight contest Tuesday night in a non-conference tilt against Purchase. 

The Blue Angels defeated the Panthers by scores of 25-14, 25-12 and 25-10 to improve to 11-4 overall. CNR remains perfect at home at 9-0.

The Blue Angels were led by Tiany Perez Diaz, who earned nine kills on the night. Melanie Ann Lopez Soto picked up a double-double as she racked up a season-high 10 aces and added 13 assists. 

The Panthers (0-9) were paced by Lillian Dixon (SO/Jackson, NJ) and Logan Morrissey (FR/Woodbridge, CT), who each recorded three kills and five digs apiece. Julia Chirlin (SO/Albany, NY) added five digs and setter Alex Lally (JR/Sunnyvale, TX) handed out a team-high 10 assists.
