Power William Paterson Tops Purchase

Purchase, NY (Sept. 15, 2016) – Non-conference power William Paterson University posted a 3-0 win at Purchase Thursday night.

The Pioneers (5-2) were led by Erin Roach and her 11 kills. Teammate Alyson Toman added eight offensively, while setter Kendall Caruso handed out a match-high 20 assists. Defensively, WP was paced by libero Julianna Ginefra and her 17 digs.

The Panthers (0-7) were led by rookies Isis Gonzalez (FR/New York, NY), Maura Gribbins (SO/Buffalo, NY) and Kaitlyn Pillig (SO/Mamaroneck, NY). Pillig totaled a team-high three assists and seven digs, while Gonzalez finished with a team-high two kills.
