Annandale-on-Hudson, NY (Sept. 7, 2016) – Women's volleyball opened their season at Bard College Wednesday night.

Bard posted a 3-0 victory. The Raptors took the match 25-6, 25-10, 25-8. 

The Raptors (1-4) jumped out to an early 14-1 lead in the first set and set the tone early, finishing with 27 kills.

Bard's Sofia Koukia paced the Raptors with 10 kills and hit .667.

For Purchase, Victoria Blum (SR/Bronx, NY) had six assists, Daja Medina (FR/Brewster, NY) had four digs and Maura Gribbins (SO/Buffalo, NY) had three kills.

Up next, Purchase will participate in the Vassar Tournament this weekend.
