Purchase, NY (Oct. 23, 2017) – Purchase women's volleyball returned to campus tonight to host the College of Saint Elizabeth in a non-conference matchup.

Two days after traveling to Mount Saint Mary for a tri-match with the Knights and St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn, the Panthers welcomed the Eagles to Purchase, looking to rebound. Unfortunately, CSE has been playing well of late and continued the trend, besting the hosts in three.

The Eagles opened with a 25-11 win in the first set en route to improving to 10-14 on the fall. The loss drops Purchase to 0-19.

CSE followed that with a 25-11 victory in set two and three.

Maura Gribbins (JR/Buffalo, NY) finished with a team-high three kills for Purchase. Noelle Miller (SO/Chittenango, NY) led the team in assists (9). The digs leader was Gribbins (7).

The visitors were led by Rhonyelle Sowell and her six kills. Two others registered four apiece.  

Purchase returns to action Thursday night at home on Senior Night.
