Simon Lai (SR/Garrison, NY) recorded a hat trick, but power Mount Saint Mary collected the victory on Senior Night at home.
MSMC scored 20 goals in a game for the second time this season. The Knights defeated Purchase 23-8. Eight Knights finished with at least two points in the game.
Purchase got on the board late in the first period and opened the scoring in the second stanza, but the Knights scored five of the eight goals in the period to take an 11-4 lead into the break.
After 30 minutes of action, Mount Saint Mary held a 27-10 advantage in shots and a 28-11 edge in groundballs. The Knights dominated faceoffs before the intermission 13-4 and were a perfect 8-for-8 in clearing chances.
The Knights erupted for eight third quarter goals and went on to outscore the Panthers 12-4 after halftime to secure its fourth league win of the season.
Danny Kugler led the hosts with five goals.

Isaac Aguero (SO/Bronx, NY) had one of his best games of the season, scoring twice, while teammates
Daniel Desaulniers (FR/Watertown, CT),
Dylan Gethicker (JR/Lime Lake, NY) and
James Felix (SO/Scarsdale, NY) all recorded single goals.
