(March 10, 2018) – In its largest win to date in program history, Purchase overwhelmed visiting Green Mountain 23-3 Saturday at home.
The lopsided tilt improves the Panthers' record to 2-2. The loss drops Green Mountain to 0-3.
James Felix (JR/Scarsdale, NY) had a day to remember for Purchase. He scored seven times in the rout.
The Panthers led 6-0 after the first period, backed by three early goals from Felix. Newcomer
Ben Erkan (FR/Bellport, NY) got Purchase on the board first and finished the game with four goals his own.
James Felix (No. 23) left Green Mountain in the rear view, scoring seven goals on the day.
The hosts held a 13-1 lead at the break and never looked back.
Christian Maldonado (FR/Albany, NY) and
Dylan Gethicker (JR/Lime Lake, NY) added hat tricks, registering three goals apiece for Purchase.
Calvin Amaro (FR/Bronx, NY) chipped in two goals, while
Johan Morales (SR/South Hampton, NY),
Zach Zarrella (SO/Leominster, MA),
Kenny Martin (FR/North Salem, NY) and
Tyler Kehoe (FR/Red Hook, NY) all found the back of the net, too.

Shane Sanders (FR/Merrick, NY) assisted on five of the team's 23 goals.
Erkin followed behind Felix' game-high nine points, registering three assists to go with his four goals for seven points. He also notched a game-best 11 ground balls.
Will Durant paced Green Mountain with two goals on the day.
