Men’s Soccer Downs SLC for Third Straight Win, First in Conference

Yonkers, NY (Sept. 26, 2018) – Call it a winning streak.

The Purchase College men's soccer team defeated Sarah Lawrence College, 2-0, Wednesday night at Tibbetts Brook Park for their third consecutive win.  

Purchase is now 3-2-1, including 1-0 in league play. Sarah Lawrence falls to 1-7, 1-1.

The Panthers, coming off back-to-back victories against Green Mountain and Lehman, got on the board in the 28th minute, when Eslam Ellisy (SO/Nyack, NY) ripped a shot from the top of the 18-yard box into the netting to give the Panthers a 1-0 advantage.

The Panthers tacked on one more goal in the second half, when Evan Miller (FR/New York, NY) found the back of the net off a rebound in the 70th minute.
