PURCHASE, NY – The visiting City College of New York Beavers defeated Purchase College, 3-0, in a non-conference match-up on Saturday. Set scores were 25-16, 25-21 and 25-14.
Purchase (3-3) was first to strike in the opening set. Sophomore outside hitter recorded her first solo block of the season after going up against visiting outside hitter Rachel Ramirez.

Purchase struggled to find its rhythm in the third set while CCNY's offense continued to ignite. PC saw its weakest hitting performances and would later close the set, 25-14, in defeat.
City's Nicole Polanco led the way with a match-high 16 kills and and 13 digs. Rached Ramirez finished with a .250 attacking percentage after collecting 10 kills, while Dzeneta Harambasic tallied a match-best 33 assists.
