PURCHASE, NY – The Purchase women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference home match to Mitchell College, 3-0 (25-6, 25-21, 25-22), Monday evening.
Mitchell (7-6) set the tone early, hitting a .359 clip with 15 kills and just one error in the opening set. Olivia DeLoach led all scorers with 10 kills, while Lexi Hubbard put up a match-high 17 assists to lead the Mariners to victory.
The Panthers (3-7) struggled to recover from the opening set, finishing the night with 21 attacking errors and 14 reception errors.

Pamella Gonzalez (FR/Bronx, NY) each notched six kills and combined for 29 digs. Setter
Skyla Schoppmeyer (SO/Oakdale, NY) assisted on 15 kills for PC, while co-captain
Isis Gonzalez (Brooklyn, NY) tied the match-best in kills (18) with Mitchell's Cameron Childs.
Purchase returns to Skyline Conference play tomorrow at St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn). The matchup is set for 7 p.m.
