PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Purchase College men's lacrosse team closed out its 2025 season with a 26–1 loss to Skyline Conference powerhouse United States Merchant Marine Academy Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers finished the year at 3–12 overall and 0–7 in conference play, while the Mariners improved to 9–5 overall and 6–1, respectively.
USMMA jumped out to a commanding 13–0 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, outscoring the Panthers in each period.
Kevon Joseph (JR/Brooklyn, NY) provided Purchase's lone highlight, scoring unassisted midway through the fourth quarter.
In goal, TJ Pasqualini (FY/West Harrison, NY) finished with 12 saves over the first 30 minutes, while Vincent Fuentes (FY/Bethpage, NY) added three saves in relief. Pasqualini also collected two ground balls.
Individually, Brendon Truex (JR/Middletown, NY) recorded three ground balls and two caused turnovers, while Cameron Savoca (SO/Nesconset, NY) led the defense with four caused turnovers. Jack Lyons (FY/Staten Island, NY) contributed two caused turnovers and one ground ball. Joseph also added two ground balls.
The Blue and Orange will return to the field for the 2026 season.
