PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Purchase College men's tennis team won two of three games this week, as it entered the homestretch of the 2026 season.
With the results, the Panthers are now 6-7 overall and 2-5 in the Skyline Conference.
Wednesday, April 15 - Game One: Purchase 5, Bard College 2
In the first game of the week, the Blue and Orange rolled as they earned singles' wins from
Eli Palagatshev (SR/Yonkers, NY),
Isaac Spottek (SO/Conklin, NY)
Dexter Pretnar (JR/Mohegan Lake, NY) and
Pedro Llonch-Vidalle (SR/New York, NY).
Saturday, April 18 - Game Two: Purchase 6, St. Joseph's-Long Island 1
Earlier today, Purchase earned its second Skyline win of the year after topping the Golden Eagles.Â
At No. 1 singles, Palagatshev swept his foe, while Llonch-Vidalle gave up just one game in his No.6 win.
Saturday, April 18 - Game Three: Farmingdale State 7, Purchase 0
The final game of the week saw the Panthers' worst performance, as they were held scoreless in the effort.Â
In the contest, Llonch-Vidalle was the only Panther to win a set as he fell in three sets at No.6 singles.
Following the busy week, the squad closes out the season on April 24th at home against Mount Saint Vincent. The game will not only serve as the season finale, but Senior Night as well.
