PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Purchase College men's lacrosse team was defeated in the 2026 season finale Saturday afternoon, falling to Maritime College by the score of 25-3.
With the result, the Panthers finished the year 1-11 overall and 0-7 in the Skyline Conference. For the Privateers, they jumped to 8-8 and 6-1, respectively.
In the first quarter, the guests outscored the Blue and Orange, 11-1, before carrying an 18-1 margin into halftime.
For the hosts, they finished with 15 shots in the effort, including nine on goal. They also added 17 ground balls and won six face-offs.
Individually,
Zach Scott (SO/West Babylon, NY) led the way with two goals, an assist and a ground ball.
Ryan Haberski (FY/Saugerties, NY) added a goal and an assist, while
Cameron Savoca (JR/Nesconset, NY) collected three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
in goal,
TJ Pasqualini (SO/West Harrison, NY) tallied 12 saves, a ground ball and a caused turnover.
The men's lacrosse team will return for the 2027 season next March.
