Brian Huber

Brian Huber enters his fifth season as an assistant at Purchase. His responsibilities include coaching 3rd base, working with the hitters and outfielders, field preparation, and practice plans.
 
Huber spent time as a player at both Briarcliffe College and Cortland State. Each school played for a national championship with Brian in their outfield, at the JUCO World Series with Briarcliffe and at the D-III World Series with Cortland State. After graduating, he served as an assistant coach at Cortland State from 2004-07. Two of those seasons, Cortland advanced to the D-III World Series.
 
He has coached in the CT Blue Jays AAU program since its birth in 2001. Huber guided the 18U National team through some very successful summers. Summer 2007 saw the Nationals place 7th at the Sandlott World Series in Tennessee. His 2008 squad made the playoffs at the Perfect Game WWBA tournament in East Cobb, Georgia. In 2009, Brian's 16U team won the AAU National Title in Orlando, FL.
 
Huber is a P.E. teacher in the Bridgeport Public School System. He has three collegiate degrees; an Associates from Briarcliffe, as well as a Bachelors and Masters in P.E. from Cortland State.
 
He resides in Monroe, CT, with his wife, Stacy, and two sons, Derek (6) and Evan (3).
