2020: John started all eight games he appeared in as a senior ... He finished with a .118 batting average, two hits, three RBIs and one run ... Fitzgerald also made two starts on the mound, collecting an 0-2 record, a 5.63 ERA and four strikeouts over 8.0 innings of work ... Season was cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019: John appeared in 22 games as a junior, starting 19 times ... He finished with a .345 batting average, 20 hits, six doubles, seven RBIs, nine runs scored, six walks and a .448 slugging percentage ...
