Purchase College Athletics

Ross brings 20 years experience at the collegiate, high school and AAU levels in his return to Purchase. He is a two-time coach of the year with the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference, and is co-founder of the New York Storm AAU basketball program. 

Ross previously was a head coach at Purchase, but returns this season as a top assistant on Martin's staff. 

Away from the hardwood, Ross serves as an Associate Professor of Communication Studies with St. Joseph's College, New York and earned his PhD (Communication Studies) from The University of Maryland at College Park, Master's (Organizational and Interpersonal Communication) from Emerson College, Boston, and  Bachelor's (Communication Studies)  from Rider College, Lawrenceville, NJ. 
 
A native of Poughkeepsie, NY, he currently resides in Patterson NY with his wife MaryBeth and three children.
