Purchase College Athletics

Sergio Asaro came to Purchase in the August of 2018.

Asaro joined the Panthers after serving as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at the College of New Rochelle from 2016-2018.

He has also served in various roles at Mount Saint Michael Academy since 2007, including coaching the freshman and JV programs and helping run the summer camp at Mount Saint Michael Academy. 

Asaro graduated from Syracuse University in 2007, where he was a Student-Manager for the Orange Basketball Team. Afterwards, he earned his Master's Degree in Education from Fordham University.

He is currently also working as an English teacher at Mount Saint Michael Academy and resides in Yonkers with his wife Amy, and daughter Eliana.
