Shiva Senthil is entering his second season at Purchase after helping to guide the program to the playoffs in 2015-16. He came to Purchase after serving as an assistant coach at NAIA Michigan-Dearborn last season.
Prior to Michigan-Dearborn, he played and coached at Hartwick College, and was a part of three NCAA Tournament teams; two as a player and one as a coach.
Senthil has extensive experience on the camp circuit, including time spent with Hoop Group, Hoop Mountain and the Gym Rat Basketball Challenge.
The new Panther assistant graduated Cum Laude from Hartwick College in 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
