The new Panther assistant will be in charge of goalkeepers. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2012. In 2011, Tartara started 17 of 18 contests and posted a .90 goals against average. He helped his team advance to the NCAA Division II Sweet Sixteen and was named 2nd Team all-conference for the East Coast Conference.
He also starred in the classroom, where he was named a Scholar-Athlete for both the college and the conference in 2012 and a NSCAA All-Region Scholar-Athlete.
Tartara continued to play after St. Thomas for the Clarkstown Eagles in the NPSl and Ican FC. He is currently the goalkeeper coach for Rockland FC.Â
