The former Panther standout and volunteer assistant coach was promoted to assistant coach in July of 2015. Mhilli will help his former head coach with the day-to day operations of the program.
As a senior player at Purchase, he was a 2nd Team All-Skyline selection, helping the Panthers to their best season in history, which included most wins, best record and highest conference finish.Â
In his senior campaign (2013), Mhilli made the transition from defense, recording 11 points against league competition, including four goals against Skyline teams. He was a big contributor for the second-seeded Panthers, who would later fall in PKs to eventual champion Mount Saint Mary in the league semifinals.Â
He made a successful transition from top flight player to coach shortly after college, joining head coach James Bruno behind the bench for last season's Skyline crown and NCAA tournament appearance. Â Â
